From the heart of Sweden's Glasriket, the Kingdom of Crystal, where a cluster of Smaland glassworks has shaped modern glass for over a century. This candle holder is signed on the base for Lindshammar and belongs to Christer Sjögren's work there, the sculptor who led the glassworks' design from the mid-sixties and worked colour and weight into mould-blown forms with a deliberately raw, almost brutalist edge.
